A Boeing 787 aircraft operated by Air India carrying 242 passengers and crew members has crashed in India with “no survivors” likely, marking the first time a Boeing 787 has been involved in a fatal accident. The Flight AI171 was on its way from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick when it crashed in the northern Indian city of Ahmedabad. The severity of the incident is currently being assessed.
