Former university student leader Chege Majuice has suggested that ex-deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is plotting revenge following his impeachment.

Chege claims that Gachagua has devised a strategy to attend all functions involving Kenya Kwanza officials, intending to undermine their leadership and bring them down.

According to the youth leader, Gachagua’s popularity is not rooted in a genuine desire to lead the country, but rather in his potential role in dismantling President William Ruto’s regime.

“Gachagua will mop the floor with you people. He will follow you wherever you go to make sure he takes the entire Kenya Kwanza administration down to the joy of Kenyans. Watch this space,” Chege asserted.

Why do Kenyans love Gachagua despite his impeachment?

Chege further dismissed accusations that Gachagua paid locals to express dissatisfaction with Ruto’s government, following the controversial Embu incident.

“Gachagua did not pay anybody in Embu. How could he do that while he is out of the government? So did he also pay the priests and believers? In any fight, people side with the underdog. They know he will not vie for the presidency but are siding with him to help them bring the regime down. that Every Kenyan can see that this country is sinking and if you are not seeing, it is either you are paid not to or you’re a psychopath,” he argued.

During the event, President Ruto was booed by the crowd while addressing his policies, while Gachagua, despite not being given the chance to speak, was praised by the residents.

He highlighted the ongoing strike by university lecturers, which has paralysed the education sector for over three weeks, further contributing to the alleged public dissatisfaction with Ruto’s administration.

Chege, a firm activist, also shared his recent findings from tours in some counties, revealing widespread discontent among Kenyans towards the current government.
