Steve Mosko and David Spingarn Join GreenSlate Board of Directors

GreenSlate has appointed veteran entertainment executive Steve Mosko and agency player David Spingarn as board members, bringing years of leadership experience to its team.

GreenSlate is a leading provider in the entertainment industry of payroll, accounting and financial services, allowing industry workers to get fairly paid for their time.

“Both Steve and David are visionary leaders who understand the rapidly changing dynamics of entertainment,” GreenSlate CEO John Finn said in a statement. “Steve’s unmatched track record of fostering high-quality content across multiple platforms and David’s expertise in strategic development and deal execution will be pivotal to our continued growth.”

Mosko (above, right) comes to GreenSlate after recently stepping down as CEO of Village Roadshow Entertainment, where he helped diversify the company into film, television and digital formats. He previously spent 24 years at the head of Sony Pictures Television, where he led the production and development of shows like “Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul,” “The Crown,” “Bloodline” and “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

In a statement, Mosko said: “There is a critical need in our industry for more efficient, technology-driven production finance solutions, and GreenSlate is well-positioned to lead that charge.”

Spingarn brings 25 years of experience as an entertainment executive, having worked at United Talent Agency as a partner and chief strategy officer. There, he oversaw 14 acquisitions that helped broaden UTA’s reach into broadcasting and eSports. He previously held roles at The Walt Disney Company, Fox and Universal Music.

Spingarn also expressed excitement about joining GreenSlate, writing in his statement: “I am thrilled to partner with the board and management team to contribute to the company’s mission of streamlining and optimizing production finance processes with its all-in-one digital solution.”
