Ghana CEOs Express Strong Economic Optimism for 2025, PwC Survey Reveals

Seven out of 10 Chief Executive Officers in Ghana expect the country’s economy to grow in 2025, according to PwC’s latest annual survey. The 28th Annual CEO Survey shows 70 percent of Ghanaian business leaders hold confident views about national economic prospects for the coming year.

The auditing and accounting firm’s report reveals mixed sentiment among corporate executives regarding their own companies’ performance. While national economic optimism runs high, only 48 percent of CEOs express confidence in their individual company’s revenue growth for 2025.

This 22 percentage point gap between national economic confidence and personal business optimism suggests leaders see broader economic recovery ahead while remaining cautious about their own operations. The survey results indicate Ghana’s business community anticipates improved macroeconomic conditions despite ongoing challenges at the company level.

PwC’s annual CEO survey traditionally serves as a key barometer for business sentiment across Ghana’s corporate sector. The firm surveys executives from various industries to gauge their outlook on economic trends, growth prospects, and business challenges.

The findings come as Ghana continues working toward economic stabilization following recent fiscal pressures. Business leaders’ optimism for 2025 may reflect expectations of improved policy conditions and economic fundamentals in the new year.

The survey’s results provide insight into how Ghana’s corporate leadership views the country’s economic trajectory as it enters 2025.
