Eze Accuses PDP's Bode George of 'Chameleon Strategy' Against Atiku

PDP Leaders Clash Over Atiku’s Political Loyalty

Former New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) spokesman Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has launched a scathing attack on PDP elder Bode George, accusing him of “chameleon-like” behavior in party politics.

The confrontation centers on George’s recent claims that 2023 presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar was “serving two masters” during the election campaign. Eze strongly rejected these allegations, defending Atiku’s commitment to the party.

“Stop acting the chameleon strategy,” Eze reportedly told George, criticizing what he sees as inconsistent political positioning. The former nPDP publicity secretary accused George of flip-flopping on key party issues while questioning other leaders’ loyalty.

This public dispute highlights growing tensions within the PDP following their defeat in the 2023 presidential election. Internal critics have increasingly questioned party unity and leadership decisions that may have contributed to their electoral loss.

George, a prominent PDP chieftain and former military administrator, has been vocal about party reforms since the election. His criticism of Atiku’s campaign strategy has drawn sharp responses from the former vice president’s supporters.

The clash reflects broader challenges facing Nigeria’s main opposition party as it seeks to rebuild after losing the presidency to the All Progressives Congress. Party leaders continue debating strategy and accountability for the 2023 electoral performance.

Both politicians remain influential voices within PDP circles, making their public disagreement significant for party dynamics.
