In a recent social media post, Musk offered to “give [Taylor Swift] a child” after the singer endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president. The comment, which many interpreted as inappropriate and potentially threatening, was met with swift backlash, including from Musk’s own daughter.
Vivian Wilson, who uses the social media platform Threads, described her father’s tweet as “heinous incel nonsense.” She further stated, “I don’t really have anything to add to it, it’s just abhorrent. I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting, it’s belittling and incredibly sexist. You deserve better.”
Musk’s controversial behavior is not new. He has previously been criticized for his public statements and actions, including his handling of his daughter’s transition. Musk has openly misgendered Vivian, referring to her as his “son” and claiming she was “killed by the woke mind virus.” This behavior has significantly damaged his public image and strained his relationship with his daughter.
