Patriots Hosting WR Stefon Diggs For Visit

The New England Patriots are hosting WR Stefon Diggs for a visit on Wednesday, according to Chad Graff. The Patriots will want to have their medical staff assess Diggs’ knee after suffering a season-ending ACL tear last year. Diggs is one of the best available free agents at this point in the offseason and the Patriots have said that they’re interested in bringing in more talent at receiver this offseason.  Diggs, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2015. He was in the final year of his rookie contract when he agreed to a five-year extension worth $72 million with the Vikings in 2018.  The Vikings traded Diggs to the Bills in 2020 for a package of draft picks including a first-round selection.  Diggs was set

Winners & Losers From Day 2 Of Free Agency

Winners & Losers From Day 2 Of Free Agency

It was a quieter day on the news front, with the rush of initial signings slowing down as teams take stock from a busy Monday. We still had plenty of signings and a few trades, and more movement is still to come. Now that we have a moment to breathe, we can take a step back and evaluate teams more holistically. After the first day, it can be tough to label quiet teams as “losers” when they could have easily made a slew of additions today. After the second day, however, we get a better picture of what teams are doing successfully and where they’ve fallen short. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some winners and losers from the second day of free agency: Winner: Vikings QB

Bobby Wagner’s tenure in Washington isn’t over yet. The veteran middle linebacker and heart of the Commanders’ defense has agreed on a contract for next season, according to a person with knowledge of the move. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Thursday because the deal had not yet been announced. Set to turn 35 this summer, Wagner led the Commanders with 132 tackles during the regular season and was named to his 10th Pro Bowl. He made 25 more during their playoff run as the centerpiece of a much-improved defense. The well-respected veteran keyed a unit that went from last in the league before he and several newcomers arrived to finish 13th under first-year coach Dan Quinn and defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr. ‘He’s a

2025 NFL Scouting Combine Winners & Losers

2025 NFL Scouting Combine Winners & Losers

The NFL Combine is wrapping up and it’s a good time to look back at the week that was. Who helped themselves with a strong showing? Who might not have put up the numbers they wanted? A lot of the important stuff at the Combine happens behind closed doors, but what happens on the field makes or breaks prospects every year. One note from me before we dive in. It’s important not to “double count” information from the Combine. What I mean is that if we’re already ranking a prospect as a great athlete and he tests like a great athlete, we shouldn’t automatically raise him in our rankings. We were already ranking him as a great athlete, that was already being considered. What is needle-moving is when a prospect

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty plans to take pre-draft visits and meet with the Cowboys and Bears.  Per Ryan Fowler, ten teams were scheduled to meet with Jeanty at the Combine including the Giants, Broncos, Vikings, Steelers, Colts, Bears, Chargers, Ravens and Saints. Fowler later added the Commanders have scheduled a formal interview.  Jeanty is widely considered to be one the best running back prospects in recent years and could end up being a top-10 pick when all is said and done. He will not participate in drills at the combine but he will at his Pro Day later this spring. Jeanty, 21, spent three seasons at Boise State and ended up finishing second for the Heisman Trophy in 2024. For his career at

The Packers were outed as the team who made the proposed rules change for consideration by the NFL’s Competition Committee. “We’re not very successful against it, I know that,” Gutekunst said Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. “To be honest with you, I haven’t put much thought into it. It’s been around for a while, we’ve used it in different fashions with our tight end

Aaron Rodgers is rumored to be making a pathetic pitch to one NFL team

Aaron Rodgers is rumored to be making a pathetic pitch to one NFL team

There’s no doubt the Los Angeles Rams are at a crossroads. The team is four years removed from their Super Bowl win, but even Sean McVay’s brilliance can only carry the current roster so far. It’s for this reason the team is planning to trade Cooper Kupp, and entertaining offers for Matthew Stafford. It’s time for a reset in LA, not a rebuild — and that means any discussion about how to maximize their assets is smart, instead of forcing things while watching aging players fade into obscurity. Broncos Despite having three years remaining on his contract with the Bills, Von Miller said during a recent podcast appearance that he plans on returning to the Broncos at the end of his career. “I bleed orange and blue,” Miller said Friday on the DNVR Broncos podcast. “I’m Broncos Country for life. I’ll end up back in Denver whenever that is, whether that’s two years, three years, four years. But down the road, for sure I’ll be back in Denver… Denver will be home when it’s all said and done.” “I’ll make my way back to Denver,” Miller added. “All the greats do. From Peyton Manning to Champ Bailey , to everybody. If it’s good enough for The Sheriff, it’s good enough for me.” Mike Klis reports Chris Morgan is expected

49ers 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is on the trade block this offseason after requesting permission to seek a trade. When asked about their receiving core, TE George Kittle thinks RB Christian McCaffrey ‘s return will provide a boost to their offense.  “One thing that we missed all of last year that would help the wide receivers is, hey, Christian McCaffrey will probably be back,” Kittle said, via NFL.com. “While he wasn’t there for a lot of the year and wasn’t on all the highlight reels and all that stuff, he’ll be back and I’m assuming he’s gonna come back, like, angry because he missed last year, most of it. I think we’re going to get the best version of Christian McCaffrey.” Kittle reiterated how McCaffrey opens up their passing game.

Chiefs move step closer to historic Super Bowl ‘three-peat’

Travis Kelce (20) is second on the all-time list for touchdown catches in the post-season, behind only Jerry Rice (22)

The Kansas City Chiefs moved one step closer to an unprecedented ‘three-peat’ after beating the Houston Texans in the NFL play-offs. After earning a bye for the first round of the post-season, the Chiefs kicked off the Divisional Round at home to the Houston Texans on Saturday. And the NFL’s two-time defending champions clinched a 23-14 victory to keep alive their hopes of becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowls. Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City have reached the NFL’s championship game four times in the past five years, winning it three times. Last season, they became the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since Tom Brady’s New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005, and they are back within one win of the big game.
