NNNs executive team a shock to many, analyst says

University of Namibia lecturer and political analyst Gurvy Kavei has described president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s newly announced Cabinet as a choice that was difficult to predict for many Namibians. Kavei said this in an interview with Nampa on Sunday, when approached for his views on the newly appointed ministers and their portfolios. “What came out was a shocker to everyone. Prior to the inauguration of the ministers, there were many media speculations as to who would feature in Nandi-Ndaitwah’s administration, but what came out was a big shock to everybody,” he said. The strikes were by far the biggest and deadliest since a truce took effect in January. Netanyahu warned Hamas this month of consequences it “cannot imagine” if it does not free hostages still in Gaza, and Israeli media reported on plans aimed at ramping up pressure on Hamas dubbed the “Hell Plan”. The Presidency in a media statement on Thursday said the talks focused on shared priorities. “Africa must assert ownership and control over its natural resources to ensure sustainable development for its people,” Mahama said, adding that closer cooperation in agriculture could significantly benefit both nations. Mbumba, meanwhile, lauded Mahama’s leadership, saying: “Namibia is looking forward to learning from Ghana’s expertise, particularly in the agriculture, oil, and gas sectors. These are vital areas for strengthening our bilateral relations.” Mbumba congratulated Mahama on his election, describing it as
