The new Sky Sky Glass is a normal television, with a 4K display, built-in six speakers of Dolby Atmos with a sub-woofer. And it comes in five different colours: white, pink, green, blue, and black with a new remote control.
Sky will be offering consumers of the glass a monthly payment plan like those used for mobile phones to pay for the TV. And will go on sale in the UK from 18 October.
Sky Glass TVs will be available in three sizes: 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. Each 4K TV will stream Sky’s TV channels, and will integrates voice control – Hello Sky and 21 apps to access additional content like Netflix, Spotify, or Disney Plus.
It has energy-saving features including auto-switch-off and a recyclable packaging.
It comes with the full Sky experience through WiFi or internet, without a satellite dish.
The new Sky glass full specifications include a UHD Quantum Dot display, support for Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HLG, three HDMI 2.1 ports, and a single USB-C port.

The group chief executive Dana Strong speaking at an event to mark the launch of the device said: “Sky Glass is the streaming TV with Sky inside, providing the total integration of hardware, software and content.
“Built on over 30 years of understanding what our customers want, this is a TV that only Sky could make. We believe this is the smartest TV available, and that customers will love it,” he added.
Plans are in place to launch a 4k smart camera coming year that will pair with Sky Glass and allow people to watch films together, play games, workout and join in calls.
Sky Glass will cost from £13 per month for the 43” screen and but consumers will need a Sky TV subscription, taking the cost up to £39 per month.
And the 55″ screen will be available for £17 a month and 65″ screen for £21 a month on top of the Sky TV subscription.
Therefore the full price for each set is £649 (43″), £849 (55″) and £1049 (65″).
The company says that all of the Sky Glass models will come with a full two-year warranty and a free delivery service that includes unboxing and packaging removal.
