Why was she arrested?

At the time of her death, Caroline was facing a criminal trial for attacking her boyfriend Lewis.

Lewis called 999 and reported an attack on him and the police upon reaching the premises, found Lewis bleeding from a wound in the head.

Lewis claimed to have been attacked with a desk fan or lamp of the sort.

Caroline allegedly confessed to the police, and then warned she would commit suicide. The police had her arrested and questioned.

She was subsequently charged with assault by beating.

However, she said she didn’t mean to hurt him as any injury caused was accidental.

How did she die?

The Love Island star died by suicide at her North London flat on February 15, 2020.

She was suffering from mental health issues and it was not dealt with. She feared she will go to prison after the assault allegations leveled against her.

Mental health is a serious issue and should be dealt with.
