
Family, friends and fans are paying tribute to the late Caroline Flack on the first anniversary of her death.
Caroline Flack was one of the UK’s most loved TV presenters until a year ago her tragic death occurred.
Friends of the late Flack have shared their memories, with the famous message she posted on Instagram in 2019 reading “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

Her ex-boyfriend and tennis player, Lewis Burton, who she was dating at the time of her death, shared a selfie he took with the beloved TV presenter and wrote: ‘1 year… I will never forget you,’ along with full and broken heart emoji.

Her former fiance Andrew Brady also wrote a lengthy tribute, which said in part: ‘Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of Caroline’s death, the person I loved more than anyone I ever thought possible. The two were briefly engaged.

A fan wrote: “Every time I saw Caroline she was smiling. Vivacious and mischievous is how I’ll always remember her. Today I’m reminded to #BeKind. My thoughts are with her family.”
Why was she arrested?
At the time of her death, Caroline was facing a criminal trial for attacking her boyfriend Lewis.
Lewis called 999 and reported an attack on him and the police upon reaching the premises, found Lewis bleeding from a wound in the head.
Lewis claimed to have been attacked with a desk fan or lamp of the sort.
Caroline allegedly confessed to the police, and then warned she would commit suicide. The police had her arrested and questioned.
She was subsequently charged with assault by beating.
However, she said she didn’t mean to hurt him as any injury caused was accidental.
How did she die?
The Love Island star died by suicide at her North London flat on February 15, 2020.
She was suffering from mental health issues and it was not dealt with. She feared she will go to prison after the assault allegations leveled against her.
Mental health is a serious issue and should be dealt with.
