Nick Cannon suggested on Tuesday that he is expecting more children this year.
The dad of already seven told the hosts of the “Lip Service” podcast that the “stork is on the way” after host Angela Yee asked him about rumors speculating that he is expecting three more children this year.
Cannon told the hosts “Let’s just put it this way… the stork is on the way.”
He has “three babies on the way,” Cannon joked, “When you say ‘on the way…’ What count are you at? Let’s just put it this way … the stork is on the way.”
And later when asked to clarify if he’s expecting three children later this year, Cannon remained tight-lipped, teasing, “I don’t know, it could be…”
Cannon, 41, last year had twins with Abby De La Rosa and a son with Alyssa Scott – who died in December – after the baby was diagnosed with a brain cancer.
The actor shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, 11, with Mariah Carey, as well as Golden, 5, and Powerful, 1, with Brittany Bell.
Cannon also revealed he plans on topping his record of welcoming more kids, but said he is open to getting a vasectomy.
“I already went and got my vasectomy consultation,” he told E! News reported.
“I ain’t looking to populate the Earth completely, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have,” he added, noting he is not “out here looking for more kids.”
He mentioned that his therapist had said he needed to “chill out” and decided to try celibacy to focus on being a good father and businessman but “I didn’t even make it to [January].”
He said he broke his own rule at the end of last year during a bout of depression following the loss of his youngest son in December who died from brain cancer at five months old.
“I was supposed to make it to the top of the year. Then obviously I started going through some stuff. I got depressed with the loss of my son. So in December – the thing is everybody saw I was so down. So everybody was like, ‘Let’s just give him a little vagina, and that’s gonna cure it all,'” Yee and Gigi Maguire.
