NFL Week 2 Thursday Night Football: Washington Football Team Versus New York Giants

Thursday’s Week 2 battle will see the Washington Football Team against the New York Giants. Washington in need of a win, lost its season-opener in Week 1 to the Los Angeles Chargers after a bad performance by its defense. Though Washington is favored by 3.5 points at home, as both teams look to get on track after Week 1 losses.

Both Washington and the Giants were defeated 27-13 by the Denver Broncos while Washington lost 20-16 against the Los Angeles Chargers. And Washington also lost their starting quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, to a hip injury.

Fitzpatrick will be sidelined for Washington in Week 2 and beyond. And Taylor Heinicke will replace him and will hope to duel better than his opponent Daniel Jones, who has made 40 career turnovers.

The TV channel for tonight’s Week 2 game between Washington Football Team and New York Giants will be the NFL Network and this will be through 4 of the 2021 NFL season. NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” team broadcasted the first Thursday night game, and starting in Week 5, there will be multiple ways to view the Thursday night game.
