Ivanka Trump in a tweet supported Goya beans along with the company’s slogan on Tuesday after comments from the company’s CEO Unanue in support of President Donald Trump last week in an action calling to boycott the brand.
Ivanka captioned the pictured displaying the canned black beans in the tweet in both English and Spanish “Si es Goya, it has to be good”.

This possibly is a violation of federal ethics rule that says “An employees position or title should not be used to coerce; endorse any product, service or enterprise or to give the appearance of a governmental sanction”.
In a Rose Garden event last week, Unanue praised Donald Trump saying “We are all truly blessed … to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder.” “We have an incredible builder, and we pray. We pray for our leadership, our president” he added.
Later in a Fox news interview, Unanue said he was “not apologizing”.
