The Brisbane Lions secured a dominant 44-point victory over the Collingwood Magpies in the Australian Football League (AFL) on Wednesday evening. The match was held at the Gabba stadium in Brisbane, with the Lions showing off their impressive form and securing their third win of the season.

The Lions got off to a strong start, with Lachie Neale, Dan McStay and Zac Bailey all contributing to a commanding first-quarter lead. The Magpies struggled to find their footing and were unable to mount a significant comeback. Despite a few moments of brilliance from Brodie Grundy and Jordan De Goey, the Magpies ultimately fell to the Lions with a final score of 97-53.

The match was notable for the performance of Brisbane’s Dayne Zorko, who was awarded the Marcus Ashcroft Medal for best on ground. Zorko put in an impressive effort, scoring two goals and making a total of 28 disposals.

The Lions’ win solidifies their position in the top eight, while the Magpies face a difficult challenge as they try to bounce back from their fourth loss of the season.
