Warning: Spoilers from ‘The Bachelorette’ season finale below
Hannah Brown and pilot Peter Weber will always have their windmill.
After eliminating Weber, 27, on part one of “The Bachelorette’s” season finale Monday night, Brown, 24, took a moment to clear the air about their previous tryst in the fantasy suite.
“I was a little dishonest about something,” Brown said in front of a studio audience, which also included Weber and host Chris Harrison. “I did say there’s something that Peter and I did twice. It was actually four times.”
Brown previously revealed that she and a contestant had sex twice in a windmill, though many speculated Jed Wyatt, 25, to be the suitor in question. The embattled singer-songwriter remains in the competition, in addition to general contractor Tyler Cameron, 26.
As for Weber, he also took the opportunity to get some answers from Brown about where their romance went wrong.
“I was falling in love with you, but I also was falling for two other guys, too, and I woke up that morning and had to follow my heart,” Brown said. “It was really hard for me, too.”
While it remains to be seen if Brown will accept a proposal on part two of the season finale, she did shed light on “rumors” that have plagued Bachelor Nation in recent weeks.
“The past couple of months have been really tough and emotional. I know there are a lot of rumors out there. Honestly, tomorrow night, I have a lot of questions that need to be answered,” Brown said.
In June, an ex-girlfriend of Wyatt alleged the pair were still involved when he signed up for the show.
As for Wyatt, he asked fans on Instagram for “patience and kindness” until he is “able to speak openly.”
“I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people. I want to thank all of you who have reached out or reserved judgement until I am able to speak openly and I can only ask for your patience and kindness until then,” he posted earlier this month.
“The Bachelorette” finale continues Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
